Hello!

I made a program to work with "Power Factor"
and would like to upload, so a expert could
check it out and let me know if the formulas are ok.

Thank You smile.gif

Hello SoyEli

You need to post it to a web page somewhere and then provide a link to that page.
There are a number of providers that host temporary file stores.
If the file is not large, you could email it to me.
I will send you a PM with my email address. If it looks good, I may be able to organise the storage and link for you.

Best regards,

Hello SoyEli

I have sent you a PM (Private message) with my email address. I do not post email addresses to the forum as they encourage SPAM.

If you look at your screen on the right hand side about a third of the way down, you will see something like 1 new message This indicates that there is a message waiting for you.
Click on that and you will be able to read any private messages sent to you. You can also send messages to other users of the forum.

Best regards,

Hi SoyEli, I have done a run through with your program, the p.f. calcs appear sound. I didn't check the capacitor calcs due to lazyness smile.gif . I would suggest that three phase calculations would be more useful for most users and also that there be the ability to input the VA or kVA directly rather than using the calculated method. Iwill usually have the kVA and kW data rather than Volts and amps so that would make it easier for me wink.gif . A couple of spelling errors also but in all not a bad bit of work.
