I would appreciate any advice on which parameters to use on our Fuji Frenic drive. In particular I am enquiring about the best start charecteristics to get the pump away without overloading the supply.

The setup is a 75kW motor driving a Mono type pump (I am not sure if this is considered a high inertia load or not?). Our power supply is 3 x 150kW generators and we are using as VSD as mentioned previously.

My understanding is that the load is relatively big compared to the power supply, and as such we will use a ramp up time to reduce the shock on the power station, however I am aware that this could cause the motor to overheat if it doesn't get away fast enough.

On start up we will run the drives at 50% output before increasing their ouput.

Any thoughts?
