Dear All
Why a DC drive trips with Phase shift fault when the I/P R-Y-B (3 ph.mains) sequence to drive input is not in that order?

Hello rahuljadhav1
The input of the DC drive includes a phase controlled half bridge rectifier.
Some designers design the operation of this phase control bridge to be phase sequence immune, and others do not. It can be done either way.
If the phase references are taken phase to phase, then phase sequence is important. If the references are taken phase to neutral, then they are not.
Best regards,
