Dear All
Actually i know that the DC Drive works with the AC I/p. But how does it actually works . What is the i/p to the DC motor.

Hello Simarpreet Singh
A DC motor runs on DC voltage.
There are AC controllers that can be used with DC motors, but the actual voltage applied to the motor is DC.
The AC controllers rectify the AC voltage and convert it ti DC. The rectification is typically done by a half controlled bridge rectifier which is used to control the DC voltage.
There are a number of different types of DC motors, and all are a little different in their characteristics and how they are controlled.
There is a lot of information available on DC motors if you search for it. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask them here.
Best regards,
