Hi people,
If you explore the methods of torque control of induction motors, two methods are foremost (a) Field Oriented Control, in which current controllers are used and ( Direct Torque Control (DTC) in which torque and flux are directly controlled. The point to ponder is, what happens to the current in a DTC drive, when there is a torque dynamic. Is it not dangerous to use the DTC method as it has no provisions to limit the drive current.
