Hello,
Is it a good pratice to install an PFC with detuned reactor and active harmonic filter simultanuously?
Please advise.

Hello Dan
I would not consider it necessary to add both power factor correction and an active harmonic filter as the active harmonic filter would generally correct the power factor also.
If you have a significant displacement power factor problem as well as a harmonic power factor problem, then it may be worth considering the use of both capacitors and the active filter.
Before doing this, I would recommend that you contact the filter supplier to ensure that the filter is not going to be adversly affected by the capacitors.
Best regards,
Mark.
