Dear friends,
I am working for a project at my corrugator machine where I want to run an AC motor 2.2kw, 380V, 4poles after connected with two 1.5kw inverters. The parameters and connections of inverters would be same. As this is just an experiment, I can not ask to management for a 3hp inverter for this motor. I have these inverters in my stock. When this experiment would be succeeded, then I will purchase a 2.2kw inverter.
Please assist me if it is possible or not.

Running A 2.2kw Motor With Two 1.5kw Inverters

Hello AB2005
If you want to run to VFDs in parallel, then the answer is a very loud NO. (The bang may even be louder!!)
Do not even try as it is impossible to put the smoke back again!!
If you have other ideas on how you intend to do this, please describe them.
You can run a 2.2KW motor on a 1.5KW inverter, you will be restricted in the maximum torque output, but that may be enough to prove the point.
Best regards,
Mark.

Yes Mark, I want to run two VFDs in parallel but after reading your comments, I can not do such.
