Hi, I am new to this forum...
At one of our site, initial current harmonics are 36% and voltage harmonics are 6%.
We decided to put 7% reactor in series with capacitors.
But we observed that after putting reactor in picture harmonics level in current increase to 86%.
How this can happens?
Please reply as we are facing same problem at some sites?

Without more data, I suspect that the 7% reactor has created a resonance which resulted in the increased current.
Q. Was a harmonic analysis performed ? Probably not.
Q. What is the power factor ?
Q. How much capacitance on the mains or branches for power factor correction ?
Solution to your problem can be found by performing a proper Harmonic Analysis of
your power system ..

Can you guide me to do harmonic analysis analysis of system?
That will helpful for me as i am beginner in Power Electronics.
Thanks
