Cabinets for important motor drives must be always safe and well maintained. In many applications running 24h/365d it is not recommended to open the cabinet's doors during running.  A simple thermographic inspection - weekly or monthly - could save from damages or burnings in case or malfunctions, due for example to poor electric connections.

Plastic windows LookIR model xlk011 were designed for an easy mounting on the front of electric cabinets in standard square holes 92x92 mm, to offer the possibility to look to true temperatures during normal operation without the need to open the cabinet's door.

Manufactured in Italy by AXU S.r.l. , they should be delivered worldwide in short times. Prices are published on http://www.axu.it/lookir

Hi mariomaggi.

This has become our normal pratice to make this WINDOW byself for a better "Visaul Control" of items (drives etc) in cabinets of machines. This provides a great help to me and my staff during general inspection and trouble shooting.

Hi, AB2005,

this is a completely different matter. Your windows can be useful for visual inspection, instead LookIR windows are useful for infrared inspections using a thermocamera.

LookIR windows are not transparent to light, you cannot look to internal parts by eyes, only by thermocamera.

Best regards,

Mario
