Safety Hood Cover

We have motor start / Stop push button station are very close to the ladder which access the motor platform. Even though if we are cautious while climbing up and down the ladder, due to some reason if we loose our balance we might hit the stop (emergency)button. This might lead to a trip the motor and plant. I like to fix a safety hood over the panel to prevent worst situation. Is any body has any recommondation or precautions shold be taken during fix a safety hood?,my consern is emergency pushbottom should be easy to acess to operator to press it in case any emergency case so any recommendation there in electrical codes to cover it in such plants?.

Electro Chloration Unit

We have Electro coloration unit ,10 cells are badly damaged by overheating due to low sea water flow because of clogging of SW path by salt deposit and required to be replaced.We have no spares.is any body with more expriance tell me what will be hapent if we do one of the following:

1-Is it possible to remove the ten damaged cells and start the unit without those damaged cells till we get the spares. OR

2-We have some cells was remaining from commussioning stage have good anodes but cathodic plates thickness have came dowen from 4mm to less than 1mm due to connected with wrong power supply polarties,so can we use those calls temporary till we get spare cells? The following are main characteristics of the unit:

Electrolyzer :

Number of cells 20,Expected cell normal/max voltage: 4.25/5 V,Nominal load 6500 A

Expected power consumption: 3.7 KWhDC/kg CL2 (clean)

Rectyfier:

Type: thyristors,Output voltage: 100 V DC,Output current: 6500 A DC,Total losses: 38.4KW

power supply trip

We have 400A breaker in Substation which feeds supply to canteen ,supply recived with 630A breaker then transformer(power250KVA,415v,348A) then 400A breaker feeds busbar which feeds many loads with individual breaker including 6Hot plat oven through 60A breaker.We have got trip many time due to some fault some time with plat oven,every time both main breaker (400A) at substation and transformer sec. breaker (400A) triped at the same time and that cause trip to all the canteen supply. my quation is ,what is the best solution to avoid all supply trip in case we got problem with that oven(but without replacing the oven itself).
