Hello:
One of the questions that have come up on one of my electrical exams was " what would make a Wound Rotor Induction motor operate at half speed with the resistance out of the circuit" I am wondering if anyone can help on this. Another question that came up was, what would cause brushes on a DC motor wear down faster then normal after the commutator was just re-dresses a) brushes too hard  neutral plane position c) commutator needs under cutting????If someone can help me twith this it would be great!! |
