Hi there,
Basic question on current transformers: Say if I had a 100:5 Amp CT and 80 Amps runs through the primary side, does that just mean I'll have 4 Amps on the secondary? Also, is 100 Amps the maximum allowable to run through the primary side in this case?

Anyone know of any devices used to measure capacitance in kVAR and where to find information about them? I've been searching for a while now and haven't had much luck. Thanks, Morgan

Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are kits available to permanently add to existing capacitors that will display a light when then capacitor is not working. Probably some sort of adjustable current indicator so when the drawn current falls below a certain level the warning light will come on. I am a coop student helping out on a number of power factor corrections at various locations. Any information would be appreciated! Morgan |
