I keep coming across web pages that have verbatum copied much data out of my site at http://www.LMPhotonics.com I even found one site that claimed copyright for the material!!

The information on http://www.LMPhotonics.com is my own material, I own the copyright etc.
I guess that copying is a form of flattery, but it would be nice if people asked or acknowledged the source of their information!!

Actually, you have a very good understanding and deep insight about AC motors. One can judge if he read the answers posted by you against the questions asked by forum members. Seeking knowledge from others is appreciated but the way, which have adopted by others, is very poor.

The threat of copyright infringement notices should be enough to convince these people to withdraw the information from their web-sites or to add the appropriate acknowledgements. Have you attempted to communicate with any of them?
