Transformer Impedance

Hi,

Transfomer data sheet shows the %Z for a 15/20 MVA transfomer is 8% on ONAN base. Please clarify whether the %Z will vary when the transfomer is operated on ONAF rating (20MVA).

Hello Naga

The transformer impedance, in ohms, will not change, but as the rating of the transformer will increase when it is forced cooled, the impedance in % will change.
