Hi all, I find your network very useful in terms of practical experience , and a lot of hands on expertise. I teach power-electronics, machines and some drives in technical collage. I like to put some final-year " practical" projects. Avoiding device and circuit-simulation. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Welcome woolaston,
I would suggest to design a circuit to get "lost energy" in old batteries, before scraping. From small AAA to car batteries, it is useful to have a variable-input voltage - variable input current - to load a fixed voltage load or battery. The resulting circuit should be externded to many other power sourced (hydro, wind, etc.) Kindest regards. Mario -------------------- |
