Hello Rahul
As you increase the load on an induction motor, the motor slows a little. This is due to the increase in slip. There must be an increase in slip in order to increase the torque produced by the motor. With some drives, there is a function called slip compensation. This causes the drive frequency to rise a little as the load is increased in a manner that the motor speed becomes less load dependent. This is called slip compensation. For example, if we have a motor that has a full load slip of 3%, and we can adjust the slip compensation to increase the frequency by 3% at full load, the slip will equal the frequency increase.
