Warning: Those ABB drives will NOT work./ They are for 1 phase input, but the OUTPUT IS 3 PHASE.

The Invertek drives are about the best thing going. You will find them over and over under several other brand names, but they are all made by Invertek.

The downside is, they only work on 2 types of 1 phase motors; PSC and Shaded Pole, both of which are of use in limited applications. Any other type of 1 phase motor and you will smoke the drive and/or the motor capacitors. MOST 1 phase motors are unfortunately of the type that you CANNOT use VFDs on.
