Hi everyone
Any one can tell me,what is the physically concept of positive ,negative and zero sequence.

I know these all are the componets of the unbalanced system but i want to know about the physically significance and concept.

Hello Shahid Hafeez

My understanding is that a standard pure three phase supply is positive sequence.

If you have an imbalance, that is indicative of negative sequence being added to your original positive sequence.
It is easy to see if you consider the vectors of a forward rotating waveform and also a negative rotating waveform
