Hi All,

I am just looking into using Modbus RTD to control some pieces of equipment.

Does anyone know of a good website to explain in detail how modbus works and give detailed tutorials?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Steve

It depends on what level you want to use MODBUS RTU.
At one level, you may be trying to write software to operate on MODBUS RTU (micro code level) or at the other end, you may be buying standard equipment and coupling it together.
I suspect the latter in which case, you need to look at the manuals of the actual equipment that you are using as each manufacturer has a different way of setin up the protocol.
