Can anyone please help me I am new to the electrical game and I need some help please. I have been set a question at college "State two ways of reducing in-rush current when starting a motor and what are the advantages of these methods? Can anyone please point me in the right direction. All help would be great. Cheers Chris.

If your question relates specifically to reducing in-rush current in 3-phase motor starting applications, then you have come to the right place. Go back to:
