Is it possible to save energy with the used of tuned harmonic filter in power system?

Yes it is possible. Tuning a filter to a troublesome harmonic reduces its current contribution thus the total rms current of the system is reduced also. Don't forget that you can also improve the power factor of the system if the right capacitor bank is selected.
