For a process plant , after a short time power failure ,how do I ensure that all motor shall run in normal operation? what should I consider in my switchgear design for critical motors reacceleration?

Welcome to the forum. It really depends what processes are running, what type of controls you are using and how long the power is lost for. Provided that the power to a motor is lost for more than half a second or so, there is generally no problem with restarting, ut there may be mechanical issues and safety issues within the plant. If the motor is powered by a VFD, then you may be able to restart a spinning motor, that depends on the VFD. Some VFDs will not allow this to occur, or need to be set up to catch a spinning motor.
