Hi

Can anyone tell me how to calculate the starting resistance of a 6 pole motor
HP=1000/1500
Rotor Volts=740/810
Rotor Amps=301/361
Full speed to reach in 6 stages (6 resistance sections) in one minute
Motor is running against a heavy load (Banbury mixer)
Is there a formula I can use?
Any help is appreciated

Thanks
