Earthing Of 1x300sq Mm ,11kv Copper Cable

Dear All,
In our plant we have power plant which feeds to main plant.5x1x300sq mm /pahse
is used.Armour is earthed on both the ends.What is the normal practice?
All 15 cables jointing kit failed.Earthing leads of R,Y phase burnt whereas B phase
earthing leads are ok.
