Greetings Mike,

Thanks for your responses.

Meanwhile, I would like to ask concerning the power factor correction for single phase motors, is the correction different from 3 phase motors?

Regards,

Itos

Yes you can correct single phase loads as well as three phase loads. The single phase load is corrected by connecting a capcitor between the phase and neutral supply. Be careful with capacitor selection however, because most formula and charts assume a three phase supply and load.

Greetings Mark,

For single phase motors, can we apply your company's electrical calculations for static correction?

The Electical Calculations Software is designed for three phase applications. I could add a single phase section as well if this is useful.

Greetings Mark,

Yes, that would be very useful if you were to add some calculations for single phase motors

Kindly let me know how and when I can expect it.

With much appreciation,
