Hi, i am going to select a MV VFD for fan. I am going through all the vendors brochures , however, what are the points i should check thoroughly to avoid VFD failure? also, we are buying motor which will run both on VFD and DOL starting .any special requirement i should check on apart from insulation?

i have VSD 400 m away from motor. it is not possible to relocate either of them.
what option do I have , to suppress harmonics and meet EMC regulations ? do I have limitation for using shielded cable for control cable from motor to VSD? We have asked for external filter but from the catalogues , I am not sure that this distance is workable. can someone guide me?

For a process plant , after a short time power failure ,how do I ensure that all motor shall run in normal operation? what should I consider in my switchgear design for critical motors reacceleration?
