marke
Hi I have a requirement to use the OMRON CPM2 series plcs to communicate with soft starters and drives. To do this, it needs to operate as a MODBUS master. This will require hand coding of the transmit strings etc.Any one got information on doing this, or do I have to start from scratch? omron
You can get omron's CX-protocol program. You can implement your modbus protocol there in reference with the modbus address tables of your soft starter e.t.c. The instruction that enables the communication that should be used in your ladder programm is the PMCR (protocol macro). Best regards.
