I'm going to design a control board for Motor to control by a motor workin on

the 400 v three phase so

and I have some question

- is the current that writing on the motor the In

- is the current In on the motor the same current on the load Il

 

- What we take into account when choosing the pieces

of the control board (Condactor ,Realy )In or I on a load

Hello Nader

 

You should only work in this area if you are suitably qualified. If you do not have the right training, you could be in serious trouble in some countries due to the potential risks involved if you do not get things right, not to mention that someone could get electrocuted or a fire started.

 

The current on the name plate of the motor is often referred to as In. In many countries there are formula covering the sizing of the cable based on IN plus a factor due to the starting currents. You need to check your local codes.

 

The current on the name plate of the motor is the current that the motor should draw when it is operating at full load.

 

Contactors should be selected on the full load current of the motor, but categorised for appropriate motor control. Normally, the contactor would be AC3 rated for the size of the motor.

 

Other components are selected on voltage rating and current controlled by them.
