marke Posted October 2, 2002 Report Share Posted October 2, 2002 Hello mikedee I don't believe that there is an easy solution to your request if the motor is a single phase induction motor.There are many inverter options for varying the speed of a three phase motor, but standard inverters are not an option for single phase motors.Variable voltage control can be used on high slip single phase motors, but these are a special motor, generally used as an integral part of a fan assembly.Perhaps someone else can come up with an option.Best regards.
