marke Posted July 15, 2007 Report Share Posted July 15, 2007 When you use CScape to open a screen, you have the choice of either switch screens, or force screens. The screen appears in the relay logic as a relay coil with a "%d" label. If you switch to a screen, that screen becomes the current screen and remains so until another screen is selected. If you force a screen, that screen is current only while the ladder rung is true. for example, if you have a momentary contact driving the screen coil, then if you switch the screen, the new screen remains visible until the next screen is called. If you force the screen, the new screen is only visible while the contact is closed. As soon as the contact opens, the screen reverts back to the last "switched" screen.
