Code 9 Trips On Ims2

marke

Recommended Posts

If an IMS2 trips on code 9 (under current trip) and there is no current readout when the motor is running, then there is a fault on the current sensing circuit of the control pcb.

Contact your local supplier to get the pcb serviced.

Early IMS2 soft starters were more susceptible to damage from electric disurbances and noise than present models.

If a hard Code 9 or Code 0 fault occurs, it is suggested the PCB be replaced rather than repaired ie to eliminate the possibly of a repeat failure.
