marke Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 Hello yrk I assume that you wish to measure the rotor currents on a slip ring induction motor? If so, you can use a clamp type clip on ammeter that is designed to measure AC and DC. The rotor currents are at a very low frequency and so you need to use an ammeter that has a Hal effect sensor rather than a standard CT sensor.
