Ground Fault

Recommended Posts

I am designing a power control centre (switchboard,400 volts ,50 Hz )which feeds both motor and other loads like lighting etc. The switchboard has three phase busbar and a neutal bus bar .The feed for the switchboard comes from a grounded neutral transformer . There are some loads tapped between phase and neutral as well.I want to provide a earth fault protection for the main incomer. As there are many single phase loads on the bus ,is there a chance of the ground fault protection activated even if there is no fault.

Regards
