Aes Aircon Energy Saver

I came across these products that save energy on Air conditoners both domestic and industrial. Does any one know about the efficieny of these products or know any other product that could be useful in an environment where most people reply on generated power. The biggest challenge in my country is electricity and hence 90% of the population rely on generators for power.
