Enigma460
Hi, Not sure if this is the correct place to post this? I was wondering what the effect of supply voltage/ Freq would have on an AC Servo Drive. For example a system designed for 460/60 hz is run at 380/50 hz. What effects would manifest themselves. yuri
Probably no effect apart the speed - at 380V/50Hz it will turn some 15% slower.
marke
You would really need to ask the supplier this as it depends on the design. In some cases, the problem may be with maximum torque at full speed due to reduced voltage. Others may have a reduced torque over the full speed range. Best regards, Mark. I thought it would probably have an effect on the torque.
