marke
Hello ariff Welcome to the forum A soft starter is a product designed to gently start induction motors and loads. This is achieved by the use of phase controlled SCRs in each phase to control the voltage. Soft switching is a technique for controlling IGBTs and MOSFETs to minimize effects such as EMC. Effectively, soft switching is a slower switch ON and switch OFF of the switching devices. Best regards, Mark.
