tediore
Hi, everyone! I've recently bought Diolan GPIO-24 USB-IO interface adapter. I would like to use it to perform data acquisition with analog to digital converter via USB. Is there anybody who uses this USB-Io adapter? How can I interface GPIO-24 with A/D converter? Any help is appreciated!
Chilim
Hi Tediore, It seems to me that Diolan has built-in ADC module in GPIO-24 adapter: proof link http://www.diolan.com/io/gpio24_doc/analog_inputs.html. Just use it. Why to connect any external ADC?
tediore
Cool! Thanks for the tip! I’ve previously used U2C-12 – Diolan I2C/SPI adapter. It has nothing of the kind. One more question. While digital data transfer, is it possible that the endpoints of the A/D converter reach their full capacity?
Chilim
No, definitely not. The adapter supports full-speed USB. So, the host may request data much faster than the ADC can deliver Actually, I use this usb-io adapter to create a power supply controller. Quite a reliable and not expensive thing. Don't consider it as an advertising
