shartah
Dear forum members,I did rewinding of a brushless dc motor (torque motor). Now i need to check the raise in temperature of individual phase windings for no load and full load conditions. Which is the best experimental method to do it? Your immediate and valuable suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks & RegardsSharath
marke
Hi The best way is to embed PT100 temperature sensors in the windings. You can get an indication of the temperature by measuring the resistance of the windings. The temperature coefficient of of copper is positive and so the resistance rises with temperature. A bit messy to do though. Best regards,Mark.
