marke
Hi It is well publicised that the use of a screened cable between the output of a VFD and the motor is important in order to minimise the EMC voltages. Most installations that I see, use pigtails to connect the end of the screen to ground or chassis. The use of a pigtail has a negative effect on the effectiveness of the screen in reducing EMC, but how much is this?? Best regards,Mark.
