Help : Motor Control Board

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am using a treadmill motor and motor control board to power a potters wheel and have blown the tread mill display board.

The motor control board connects to the display board through pins labelled l w h h m +12v and gnd

I have read online that l w and h are for the pot low wiper and high

that doesnt start the motor though.

Is there any way to use this plug to control the motor?

Heres a photo of the control board :

And a close up of the connections ive got

The Motor is 180v 4 amp permanent magnet if that helps

Hello James12322

It is impossible to tell from the photos, you need to find someone who knows about this actual unit.

Have you tried the manufacturers??

Best regards,

Mark

I think its looking like a project to put for a rainy day,

I took it into a guy today who repairs circuit boards, he wanted $200 as a deposit cause theres a couple hours in figuring out the fault, no schematics i can find anywhere online.

I pulled the treadmill to bits only wanted it for the motor so ive got no idea who the *beep* made the thing,

bought a new one today for $50, wil cut it open and ill try harder this time to not blow the bloody thing up

thanks for taking a look

Cheers James
