moises
Hi, I have 2-1250 kva AC generator with totally the same specification except for duty rating, one is CONTINOUS DUTY and the other one is STANDBY DUTY. What is the technical difference between the two, is there any difference for its application? Reply is very much appreciated. Regards to all, Moises
Guest
The continuous rating means it will deliver the nameplate rating for an indefinate ammount of time. The Standby duty is a momentary rating at nameplate rating for a short time and then continuous for say 80% of nameplate rating. The genetrator manufacturer can elaborate on the exact specifications of your particular model. CheersEric
