marke Posted January 22, 2005 Report Share Posted January 22, 2005 The size of the conductor will determine it's resistance per unit length. You need to determine how much voltage drop is acceptable over that distance,then calculate the resistance and use that to select the conductor size. You also need to ensure that the conductor is suitable for that current flow.
