marke Posted February 17, 2005 Report Share Posted February 17, 2005 You certainly can make a zero crossing detector that uses a 4N35 for isolation. The circuitry depends on the accuracy you require and the voltage levels that you are working with. I would typically use additional gain/comparator circuitry for low level signals and drive that into the opto.
