marke Posted October 11, 2005 Report Share Posted October 11, 2005 Hello lalmehal You can save energy on machines that are operationg inefficiently.The major culprits are pumps where the flow is less thanwould be normal at full speed due to the pump being "throttled back" by closed valves etc. If you slow the pump down, the pump efficiency will increase. Similarly fans where the airflow is controlled by damper vanes. Reduce the speed of the fans and dispense with the dampers.
