chaterpilar
Is it neccessary to put a contactor on the output of VSD ? The freewheeling effect of motor gives feedback to VSD , especially if the VSD is driving a 2 pole pole motor and is stopped but motor keeps running..due to inertia. chaterpilar
marke
Hello Chaterpillar Generally, you would not put a contactor on the output of a VSD. Most VSDs will be damaged if you control a contactor on their output. and so it must not be done. There are some manufacturers who claim that you can use a contactor on the output of their drives, but this is not normal.
